“Star Lakes Estate is a 55+ condominium of 386 units with a yearly revenue/income of over 11/2 million dollars. The Board of Directors first meeting was held on February 16 1967; that will tell the years of the building (nearly 50 years). Due to the Boards’ mismanagement over the years, much of the common element areas need major repairs to bring the association to par. Furthermore, the association needs a strong board of directors, an accountable and transparent management company to fix the ineptitude of the few who know nothing even about managing their home. Wouldn’t it be better for our community if we could post stuff that would emphasize the positive. Specifically, not talking about “ineptitude” of past management and how old the buildings are. That is not going to help us… just sayin’

I bet you are right. I do not have time to get into politics, or finger pointing. In fact I do not even have much time to post articles here. But you are welcome to post as many positive cooments as you wish and even some pictures of the progress done. Star Lakes Association seems to always welcome any volunteer work you could do for the benefit of the whole community. In fact they already have a team of individuals who volunteer themselves to enforce the rules and regulations by reporting any anomalies or missconduct.
I m a desident of star lakes ,living at 19080.NE ,3ct Unit 311.the unit has a leak under the sink,and some other stuff needed to get fix,I feel that charge.how can I rent ,and never can have contact with the owner,I don’t even have access to the mail box,no key.,that sounds strange…
I am afraid I can not give any advice on that matter. I guess you should contact the owner. Happy Holidays.
